If I buy my tickets online, is it safe to use my credit card?

Yes, it is a 100% secure site!  You will be directed to the website of the company that School of the Madeleine has used for over 4 years to process credit card payments and is the software that has managed all of the auction items for The Main Event.

 

If I save my credit card information, do I need to bring my credit card to the event?

Yes, please do.  However, you will not need to use it to check in or out.  We will use the card on file.

 

Can I use a different card the night of the event?

Yes, if you want to use a different credit card that night just bring it and let them know about the change when you check in.

 

Why are there three different ticket prices?  Which do I buy?

If you would like to to sit with specific people at Main Event, purchase an “Early Bird” ticket for $100 ($200 for a couple) or a VIP Ticket for $125 ($250 for a couple) before December 16, 2016. If you purchase either an Early Bird or a VIP ticket and want to choose your table mates, you must know whom you want to sit with and you must have ALL agreed to sit together.  Choose ONE last name that you will ALL fill in under Group Name when you purchase your tickets.  This is how we will know that you want to sit together.  If only one of you puts the Group Name – you will not be seated together. Choosing your table mates is a benefit for Early Bird and VIP ticket holders but it is not a requirement. The advantage for VIP ticket holders is VIP table seating as well as two drink tickets per person. VIP tickets will be available until sold out. After December 16th, the Early Bird Ticket Option will be replaced with the “Anytime” ticket for $110 per person ($220 per couple) and we will thoughtfully assign your seat and table mates at Main Event.

 

How many people can fit at a table?

A maximum of 10 people can sit at one table.  If choosing your table mates, please select one family name for your table and be sure to have all table mates use that one selected family name when making their reservation. Please do not have more than 10 people use the same Table Name. Please note, you do NOT need to fill an entire table. Your group reservation can seat as few as 2 people and up to 10 people.

 

If I buy my tickets online and my friend I want to sit with sends in their paper response card, can we still sit together?

Yes, as long as you both purchase either an Early Bird or VIP Ticket and use the same selected family Table Name

 

What are the Brilliant, Radiant, Princess and Emerald  level ticket options on the online registration?

These options are Sponsorship opportunities that come with tickets to the event as well as advertising in the program and at the event. For descriptions of each sponsorship level , please visit the sponsors page.

 

What about parking?

Valet Parking is available at the Manchester Grand Hyatt for $10 for the first hour, $8.00 per hour after the first hour. Self-Parking is available for $8.00 per hour. Overnight Valet guests parking is $47.00. Overnight Self Parking guests is $32.00.

 

Should I really get there at 5:30?

Yes!  If you check-in before 6:00 you will receive a welcome drink. This will also give you ample time to participate in the silent auction.  Please arrive on time!  You will want to spend as much time at the lovely Manchester Grand Hyatt!

 

What’s included in my ticket price?

An unforgettable evening at a premier hotel in Downtown San Diego, promising to be entertaining from start to finish. You’ll be welcomed with a cocktail at arrival and tray passed hors d’oeuvres, then enjoy a browsing and bidding on the amazing items in the silent auction! Meet our celebrity hosts for the evening former San Diego Charger Nick Hardwick and Clint August from 101.5 KGB and the CW!  Next, A delicious three course, sit down dinner will begin at 7:00pm with the exciting Live Auction to follow. After the auction, get ready to really turn up the volume as you’ll dance the night away to great live music! There will be other amazing surprises throughout the evening – you won’t want to miss out! Plus, we will be honoring The School of the Madeleine celebrating 60 years of  commitment to our children and our community!

 

Does this contribute towards my PSA Commitment?

Yes, 25% of your ticket price and 50% of anything you spend at the auction will go towards your PSA Commitment.

 

Can I invite my non-Madeleine friends or family?

Absolutely!!  Everyone is welcome! Friends, Colleagues, Grandparents. The more the merrier. It will be a fun night filled with something for just about everyone. The best part? 25% of their ticket price and 50% of all of their auction purchases goes towards YOUR PSA commitment! Just remember, space is limited so encourage your guests to buy their tickets early and reference your SOM Family name and number.

 

What is the “Teacher Sponsorship” Opportunity?

To show appreciation for our dedicated teachers, you may make a donation anywhere from $10 to $100 towards a teacher’s attendance at Main Event. (donation not applicable to PSA Commitment)

 

Is there a discounted room rate the night of the event at The Manchester Grand Hyatt?

Will the auction items online be available to bid on at the event?

No, the online auction items will be available to bid on prior to the event. These items are only available online so please get these items within the timeframe of our online auction. 

 

What if I want to bid on multiple items during the silent auction but can not get to all of them?

We will be bringing back  the mobile bidding app available on smart phones. You will be able to mingle with friends while bidding via your phone. You will receive an alert if you have been outbid. This will make check-out a lot easier too!
